Uber has officially expanded its women-only matching feature across the United States, allowing both women riders and drivers to pair exclusively with other women for added comfort and safety. Despite facing a California class‑action lawsuit alleging discrimination against men, Uber says the feature answers longstanding safety concerns raised by women using the platform.
