Nine Clovis North High School seniors are speaking out after being banned from their graduation ceremony for possessing alcohol on prom night. The students, caught with alcohol on a party bus, say they’ve accepted responsibility and are pleading for a second chance. Their attorney argues the punishment is unfair, especially since others who denied involvement face lesser consequences. The district cites longstanding prom contracts, but the students and their families are pushing back, calling the decision excessive and inconsistent.
