President Donald Trump’s appearance at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland ignited global attention as he doubled down on his push for the U.S. to acquire Greenland, calling for “immediate negotiations” and insisting America could protect the territory better than Europe. California Gov. Gavin Newsom, also in Davos, openly mocked Trump’s remarks, labeling the speech “remarkably boring” and dismissing the Greenland rhetoric as “never real” and “fire and fury that signified absolutely nothing”.
