Virginia voters statewide are casting yes/no votes on a proposed constitutional amendment that would allow the General Assembly to temporarily redraw congressional districts before the 2026 midterm elections. Virginia currently has 11 congressional seats, split 6 Democrats / 5 Republicans. The proposed new map would likely shift the balance to 10 Democrats / 1 Republican.
