BREAKING NEWS: Matt Gaetz, the former Florida Congressman and Trump nominee for Attorney General, announced he is withdrawing his name.  In a post on X he cited the "distraction" his nomination had caused as his reason for withdrawing his name, "while the momentum was strong, it is clear that my confirmation was unfairly becoming a distraction to the critical work of the Trump/Vance Transition," Gaetz wrote.
