A Beloved Lo-Fi Wine Party Returns in a New Surry Hills Home

View descriptionShare

After a successful, sold-out Melbourne Huge Moves in March, the fun, delicious and informative lo-fi wine party is back in its hometown this August, taking over two levels of the Ace Hotel. As usual, it’ll bring together producers, growers and importers of some of the best natural wine from Australia and abroad. Huge Moves is presented by two of Sydney’s leading purveyors of natural vino, Joel Amos of booze retailer Drnks and James Hird, Icebergs sommelier and co-founder of the legendary Rootstock Sydney Festival. Joel joins Around Town to discuss this year's lineup. Plus, one of Broadsheet’s favourite independent brands has opened its first bricks-and-mortar store in Paddington.

Featured on today's episode:

  • Huge Moves 5
  • Maison Essentiele
