Jessie Oldfield and Adam Murfet form an acclaimed directing duo, renowned for their versatile approach across narrative television, short films, and commercials. They initially gained recognition for their art-house fashion films, captivating major brands like Renault, Adidas, Country Road, Target, and Myer with their distinctive style. In 2019, Jessie and Adam first ventured into television with the creation of the half-hour comedy series 'Why Are You Like This'. Originally conceived as part of the ABC's Fresh Blood Pilot Season initiative, the duo later produced and directed the six-part series for ABC, subsequently picked up by Netflix.
