Dodo bird

This week on Bring Down The Birds, Dr Watson chats about the Dodo: the extinct flightless bird that was found on Mauritius. Sadly, the arrival of European settlers in the late 1500s saw the rapid decline of this unusual species of bird. Today's closest living relative to the Dodo is the Nicobar Pigeon.
