Healthy Living NT's Helen Lamech has taken out the NT News Territory Leader of the Year for 2025!

Her work for more than 30 years was recognised when she was awarded the Health and Wellbeing Leader, before being announced as the year's Territory winner. Earlier this year, Helen was named the 2025 Jan Baldwin National Credentialled Diabetes Educator at the Australasian Diabetes Congress, and at the recent 2025 NT PH Network health professional of the year awards, she took home the Administrator’s Medal for Health Professional of the Year and NT Health’s Nurse/Midwife of the Year.
