The Great Cattle Duff was inspired by the recent cattle stealing (duffing) cases reported in the outback of the Northern Territory over 2021 & 2022. One case involved 1200 head of cattle worth $1.5 million to the owners and involved the Cloncurry Stock Squad to track and recover the cattle.
