UNCC participates in archaeological digs in Israel and refuses to denounce them. According to this student movement this makes UNCC students, faculty, and staff complicit in the "genocide" Israel is conducting against the Palestinian people.  Brett shares a message sent directly to him from the UNCC administration stating that they are committed to remaining neutral, ensuring a safe environment for all students, and that the resolution passed by the student government will not be heeded by the university. Brett brings Mark Garrison from the WBT Newsroom onto the show to discuss what the last 48 hours have been like with the interview going viral, the White House accusing him of editing the interview, and being on Fox discussing the whole situation. Garrison invites any audio/video expert who would like to investigate the clip for any sort of tampering with the interview. "There was no spirited defense," Garrison said, she never responded to the question, she just began spouting talking points about how great President Biden is, despite his astonishingly low approval ratings. Harrigan claims he never planned on entering the political arena but after seeing the "criminal" pullout of American forces from Afghanistan he felt called to serve the American people in a new way. "The goal is to take forth the voice of the people of the 10th district and translate that voice into actionable policy and legislation that makes our lives better, makes our country safer, unleashes our economy, and restores governmental integrity," Harrigan said. In the first segment Jensen and Jennings discuss the rising trend of kids bringing guns to schools, what steps can be taken to combat this crisis, and the reinstatement of Jail North as a juvenile facility. Jennings emphasizes the importance of not simply locking these young people up in a local safe facility but also implementing programs intended to educate and reform these kids. Later in the show Jennings is asked to share what made him into the man he is today, from his childhood in Tennessee to his college football career at Appalachian State University.  Jensen gives Jennings time at the end of the show to cover anything he feels was left out of their interview.
