A familiar face makes another appearance on this Wednesday edition of "Breaking with Brett Jensen,"-- CMS.

Brett shares audio from many interviews he conducted as Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and County Commissioners work to complete next year's budget for a school system coming off of a particularly rough year.

The biggest point of contention between the two sides is, of course, the amount of money CMS actually needs to operate.

Despite a drop-off in both students and staff, CMS is asking for $20 million more than last year -- which many county commissioners are wary of doing. 

"There isn't a business on the planet that works this way," County Commissioner Pat Cotham told Brett. 

One of the other major disconnects between the two sides is the worry that the money that is allocated won't go to it's intended purpose, something County Commissioner Vilma Leake said she was particularly worried about.
