Jensen begins the interview by asking Stewart for his assessment of the political environment with early voting scheduled to begin in October. He also asks Stewart to discuss conditions across the counties in his district and explain his role as congressional district chairman.

Later, Jensen speaks with North Carolina Senate candidate Kevin Crutchfield and state Rep. Mark Harris. He talks with Crutchfield about Republican voter turnout in Cabarrus County and with Harris about the impact of the Iran conflict on the Republican Party.
