The turnout was exceptionally low with 2.76% of eligible voters statewide and only 1.42% of eligible voters in Mecklenburg County showing up to cast their vote. Even fewer voted in the NC State Auditor race with 133 thousand voters showing up yesterday and 8 thousand of them not voting for the auditor.
