Breaking Brett Jensen kicks off the show by talking about the unusually cold weather this week and his hatred for cold weather. As anyone with an inside dog can relate to, waking up to 20-degree weather and needing to take your dog out is a rough way to start the day. 

Brett also shares an update on his 15-year-old golden retriever, Maggie, following her trip to the vet earlier this week. She hasn't been eating, and she's getting weaker by the day. This afternoon Brett mistakenly gave her the wrong medicine, rather than the antacid pill he gave her a tranquilizer pill that immobilized her. As of now she is still practically paralyzed, Brett assures us that he will keep us updated as the situation progresses.
