Vanessa and Emily from HSKL talk about Kit - This week's Bounce Pet of the Week

November is adopt a senior pet month, a time to celebrate and honor our older furry companions like Kit.

Kit is a beautiful 12-year-old cat who has been with us since early April 2024. She is the longest resident at HSKL, being at the shelter for 221 days! She embodies a unique charm that makes her stand out. Her playful nature adds a lively spirit to any environment, while her affectionate side ensures that she forms deep bonds with those around her.  Despite her age, she retains a playful charm, showcasing that age is just a number when it comes to having fun.

Living in my office, Kit has become a delightful companion, brightening the workday with playful antics and gentle purring. She enjoys engaging in games, whether its chasing after toys or exploring her surroundings. At this time, she values quiet moments, often curling up nearby for some much-needed affection.

Kit would thrive in a loving home that appreciates her spirited personality and is willing to provide her with the attention and companionship she craves. Her ideal home would be one where she can feel secure.
