For years Wix would write a 1-2 minute opinion piece every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  He wrote these DURING the show, in between breaks and newscasts.  I've always been amazed at the writing he can accomplish while a million other things are going on.  Phone calls, contest, laughter... Wix is opining about politics and belts.  When I asked his wife Deb for some ideas for his last day she asked to hear a Words of Wixdom.  Because they were so timely, (in the biz we call this 'perishable') none of them would really fit today, so I put together a montage of some of my favourite lines.  ~Meg
