The 8am hour starts with Gio telling us his wife is going for a balayage, which is some sort of hair highlights. A caller from Buffalo says he has problems peeing at stadiums. Gio says somebody is wiping boogers on the wall above the urinal. Thank goodness Jerry returns for another update. Jerry has audio of Chris Russo saying Arod did steroids ‘like a Christmas tree’. Jerry goes around the NBA last night. Greg Gumbel was on the SI Sports Media Podcast. He says broadcasters can chase people away, but don’t bring people to watch the games. Bruce Arians and Todd Bowles met the media in Tampa. Jerry also has audio of Brooks Koepka saying ‘get out of my face’ to an autograph seeker. Shaq had freestyle rap about Charles Barkley ‘I’ll Will Smith his ass’. The Islanders beat the Blue Jackets. In the final segment of the hour, they talk about Jacob deGrom’s injury and Boomer thinks the Mets players are on the older side.
