Chase Utley is a name that makes Mets fans cringe and that is because he was so damn good - that and a takeout slide that broke Ruben Tejada’s leg.  I tell you this because the former Phillies’ second baseman, turned Los Angeles Dodgers special advisor, joined Boomer & Gio Wednesday morning on behalf of Scotts & MLB and their ‘Little Field, Big Experience, Chance of a Lifetime Experience’.  Utley talked about what it’s like being hated by Mets fans, how he tried to reach out to Tejada following the incident - and even sent him a bottle of tequila - only to be denied, winning a World Series back in 2008 and much more.  Chase was such a good sport that before things concluded, he agreed to take some phone calls from Mets fans, which actually went better than expected.
