It was more of Gio & Jerry Recco Tuesday morning and it’s go time for the Mets, as they they open up a pivotal homestand with a three-game set with the Indians – followed by three with the Braves and three with the Cubs).  The guys discussed the obvious importance of every game for the Amazins’ from here on out, while Gregg is encouraged that 26 of the remaining 38 games, will be at Citi Field.  As for the Yankees, with the bubble-wrap officially off of Domingo German in October, combined with Masahiro Tanaka’s track-record, one can’t help but like the Bombers’ frontline starters when October rolls around.
