On the Shelf This Week:

James Mayhew joins the show with his vibrant retelling of Prokofiev’s timeless classic, Peter and the Wolf. When young Peter ventures out into the meadow, he makes friends with a duck, a bird, and a cat—only to face his ultimate test when a hungry wolf steps out from the trees!

Liz Flanagan takes us high into dragon territory with The Moonlight Dragon. When Luna rescues Spark, the last remaining young dragon in the world, she teams up with Tobi and Elodie to uncover why the king fears these magical beasts—and whether they can save their kingdom as crops fail and water runs out.
