A key component of the spiritual rebuilding process is staying focused on the task at hand. It seems like the bigger the job, the more we have a tendency to be distracted along the way. Nehemiah encountered this as the work got underway rebuilding Jerusalem and we can expect distractions spiritually when we attempt to work on areas of our lives that need work. When you live as a steward of what God gives you, you will begin to operate with your money in a whole different way. Rebuilding and the call for generosity from the top down… is the topic today on Bold Steps. We continue in Nehemiah chapter 5 where Nehemiah, in the process of the huge rebuilding effort of Jerusalem, rebuked the church and its leaders over questionable and unjust money handling. There needed to be reform and he called them out. Many of us also need this same message and Pastor Mark takes us there.

Pastor Mark Jobe says that when spiritual things decline in our lives, so do our financial decisions. Today, Bold Steps needed for the Battle Inside the Wall. We’re continuing our current series in the book of Nehemiah. Every building effort must start from within and a main issue is dealing with finances.
