St. John Lutheran Church is hosting the 23rd Annual Hill Country Wild Game Charity Dinner on Saturday, April 25th at the Kendall County Youth Agriculture and Equestrian Center in Boerne, Texas.
Co-chairman Richard Wagner and host Baron Wiley discuss the event on Boerne Radio 103.9 FM, covering everything from the menu to the mission.
Event Highlights:
Doors open at 4:00 PM, serving starts at 5:00 PM
All-you-can-eat wild game menu: venison, pulled wild pork, quail and dumplings, crawfish, shrimp gumbo, fried fish, BBQ chicken, and more — including a new item: fried pig cheeks
Live auction, silent auction (guns, art, hunting/fishing trips, collectibles), and multiple raffles
Tickets: $35 adults, $5 kids under 12
100% volunteer-run — all proceeds go to local nonprofits
Last year: $80,000 raised for 20+ charities. This year's goal: $100,000 for ~23 nonprofits, including TBI Warrior Foundation, Hill Country Pregnancy Care Center, Kendall County Women's Shelter, Hill Country Mission for Health, Boerne Family YMCA, and more.
