Sena says the board has saved taxpayers $27 million in interest since 2023 and $85 million since 2016 while maintaining one of the lowest regional school tax rates, and notes BISD spends about $3,000 less per student than the Texas average. He discusses P-TECH early college programs in cybersecurity and health careers, expanded career and technical pathways, JROTC, character development efforts, and BISD’s A rating, 99%+ graduation rate, and Boerne Academy options.
