Big match last night for Champion Volleyball- they’ve been rolling and haven’t been tested yet. Outcomes rival Smithson Valley and the game goes the distance to 5 sets but the Chargers rally to win the last frame for a 3-2 victory. Was there ever any doubt? Now, Boerne Champion remains undefeated in the district. 

Speaking of Smithson Valley, Boerne High School played them in tennis. And they are tough even on the other courts… but Boerne takes care of business by a final of 14-5. Now the Hounds improve to 8-1 overall and an unbeaten 4-0 in district. 

And this week on the station, we’ll have both the Greyhound and Charger games- as the Hounds will be in Laredo this week to take on United tomorrow, and the Chargers are in Medina Valley Friday. Both kickoffs are scheduled for 7.
