Girls basketball is up and running- in fact, both the Greyhounds and Chargers took big wins in non-district play. Champion defeated Harlandale 63-43, and Boerne defeated Holmes 75-27. The boys start this week- with the Chargers taking on Southwest Legacy on the road, and the Hounds are on the road Saturday morning for a battle with Highlands. 

The Chargers won’t be the only ones with athletes signing today on National Signing Day- the Greyhounds will have 6. We have their names at BoerneRadio.com on our sports blog.

And we are one day away from the high school football playoffs getting underway! Our first game is Champion heading to Southwest- The Chargers will need their strongest knight armor to slay the dragons in this one- the bi-district round starts at 6:30 with our pregame show live from South San Antonio. The Spurs get 2 games home against the Warriors. The first is tonight at 7. Rookie Dylan Harper is still out with a left calf strain.
