Today is signing day- bright and early in their gyms, Boerne High and Champion will have their student-athletes signing their letters. We will have a wrap-up on tomorrow’s report of who signed where.

Last night was historic for Comfort basketball and for Jovani Zapata, who hit a 3-pointer in their game against Ingram that landed him his 1000th high school career point. 

First day off of Realignment, the Greyhounds now have their football schedule for 2026. A little different from the past 2 years, with games against La Vernia, Davenport, Somerset, and new district opponents Liberty Hill, NB Long Creek, and SA Vets Memorial. 

And for Champion football players Roman Flugence and Brogan Dempsey, the Padilla Poll named them to the All-State teams. Dempsey as first team and Flugence as second team. 

And Geneva football Head Coach Rob Rosenstiel was named the TAPPS Division III Coach of the Year, following a historic season heading to the state semifinals.
