A big congratulations once again to those from Boerne and Boerne Champion who signed their letters of intent to play sports in college. Photos posted on social media show groups from each school, athletes getting their own moments, and lots of college gear everywhere. 

The Spurs took their 3rd loss of the year to the Golden State Warriors last night, 125-120. Wemby and Stephon Castle both had triple doubles- but the goal was to stop red-hot Stephen Curry from scoring. 37 years old, and still put up 46 points in the game. The two teams battle again as an NBA Cup Group play game tomorrow night at 8:30.

During what is a very saturated week of sports and activities at Southwest HS, the community mourns the loss of one of their students- a talented softball player, Angelina Terrazas, passed away after a battle with ovarian cancer on Saturday. She was only 17 years old. I had the chance to speak with her coach, Sandra Hernandez, about Angelina’s story and the past year following the diagnosis. You can hear the full story tonight during the halftime show, during coverage of the game on Boerne Radio. Of course, we also send our deepest prayers and love to her family, and her community at Southwest.
