As heard on Boerne Radio, game 1 of a best of 3 moved up in the week because of pending storms. Champion scored in the first inning as they would strike first, but Rouse had other plans and scored two. Down the stretch, 2-1 would stay the score, and 2-1 was the final. Champion faces elimination tomorrow night in game 2. We’ll see what happens. It’ll air on Boerne radio as well. 

It’s a new series for the Spurs as well- in game 2 last night, turnovers absolutely KILLED the Spurs’ game. 21 in fact… Tim Duncan would certainly not approve. Stephon Castle led the team in points with 25. However, the Spurs would drop game 2 by a final of 122-113. The series is now tied 1-1 heading back to San Antonio tomorrow night for game 3.
