Let’s start with basketball…Your Lady Greyhounds are in the playoffs after beating New Braunfels this week 58-34.  Round 1 is on  Monday as they face Cedar Park at 6:00 at Northside Gym in a game we will air right here on Boerne Radio. 

The Greyhound Boys have 2 more games in the regular season and out of the playoffs with a 4-10 district record in a very tough division.  Meanwhile the Champion Boys are playoff bound with a 10-4 district record and 23-9 for the season. 

In Tennis action this week, Geneva School of Boerne welcomed Hyde Park who made the 90 minute drive to and from, going back not the winner but not the loser… it was a 9-9 match tie.  The girls singles team had the dominating raquet-bracket winning 4 of the 6 matches.  Congrats to Rebekah Burkhart, Audrey Kate Garcia, Naomi Bowser, and Ava Jersin.

Recapping some soccer scores - Champion Girls  beat Tivy 7-0.  They welcome Veterans Memorial on Friday night. The Boys also beat Tivy in a closer match - final score 4-3.

 The Greyhound Boys fall to New Braunfels 2 to 5, and the Lady Greyhounds and Unicorns tie it up at 2 each.   The Boerne Greyhounds will play Wagner on Friday night.   

And the Spurs announced yesterday that they have “parted ways” with Jeremy Sochan, former Baylor Bear drafted back in 2022. He is no longer apart of the team and hasn’t played in a while. However, the Spurs did pick up a win in Golden State last night, 126-113. This was the last game before the All-Star Break this weekend.
