Boerne fans, especially those of the Greyhounds… I need your help, or should I say, Hank Hendrix needs your help. He’s been nominated by Sporting News for the Midseason National QB of the Year Award. And need I say more?- he’s blue-chipped, we talked about some stats in his recent games… he definitely deserves the award. We have the link on our sports blog at BoerneRadio.com. Charger water polo teams have their regional quarterfinal matches set for tomorrow- the girls will be taking on Canyon at 4, and the boys against Churchill at 5:15. Both games will take place at the Josh Davis Natatorium in San Antonio. 

A lot of people yesterday were asking “what the heck happened?” in the NFL… the Texans were on their bye week, so there’s no heartbreak there. But Dallas’ defense assumingly let the Panthers get right by them, in fact, former Cowboys Rico Dowdle had a game against his former team. Anyways, it came down to a field goal… Dallas is now 2-3-1 on the season after a 30-27 loss to Carolina.

Big win over the weekend however for UT’s football team. In the Red River Rivalry game against Oklahoma, minded, the #6 team in the country, Texas put the horns up 23-6. Texas is back in the rankings on the new AP poll at #21.
