Headlines: Boerne ISD Area football games set / Geneva faces 8-3 All Saints in next round / Cowboys take on Vegas off bye

Alright so the area round of the playoffs for high school football are officially set. On Thursday, the Greyhounds will battle Sharyland-Pioneer for the area title. And on Friday, the Chargers are facing an undefeated Pharr San Juan-Alamo North team. Both games begin at 7, and both are being played at Bill Johnson Stadium in Laredo. If you’re taking the drive down I-35 south, safe travels. But if you prefer to grab a soda, make Jiffy Pop and stay in, we have you covered here on Boerne Radio. We start pregame at 6:30 before each game, as I along with Kerry Barboza will be there live in Laredo to get it on…. This is all Thursday and Friday. 

Geneva also survived their  first round game and gets their next task on Friday night. They face All Saints Episcopal School from Tyler. All Saints is 8-3. Kickoff will be at 7. 

And after a long bye week and following the tragic death of teammate Marshawn Kneeland over a week ago, the Cowboys will play football tonight. They will be in Las Vegas to play the Raiders. Kickoff will be at 7:15, and will air on ABC and ESPN.
