The San Antonio Spurs face a 2-0 deficit in the NBA Finals as the series heads to New York City for game 3 tonight. President Donald Trump is among the famous names planning to be in attendance at tonight’s game in Madison Square Garden. Only 5 other teams have ever come back from a 2-0 deficit to win the Finals, with the most recent being the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021 to defeat the Phoenix Suns. If the Spurs win tonight, they actually can make the series interesting at the least. The main keys will have to be limiting turnovers, get open shots, and stop taking three pointers that aren’t falling. Game 3 is tonight at 7:30 on ABC.
UT Longhorn baseball is victorious once again after a sweep of Oregon this weekend in the Austin Super Regional to punch their ticket to the College World Series. We now await two finals teams to punch their tickets today, as West Virginia, Troy, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Georgia, and now Texas have completed their super regional series. The Men’s College World Series starts this weekend.
