The sports in Boerne were on fire this weekend. First off, at Austin Westlake, we find the Chargers Cross Country team…. In addition to individual medals, here are the team results: JV girls placed 3rd in their division, JV boys took 2nd, Varsity girls finished 3rd, and Varsity boys secured 4th place.

And for the 2nd-straight season, the Greyhound volleyball team took first place and dominated the field at the SAISD Tournament in San Antonio. Holly Reeder, Haley Wheeler, and Lauren Magnus were named to the all-tournament team for their efforts this weekend.

And we are now just 4 days away from high school football getting underway… nothing like a good game of pigskin under the stadium lights on a warm Friday. Our live game will feature the Chargers in Laredo taking on United South. Our first ‘Fired up Friday’ will take place starting at 5 before pregame at 6:30, and kickoff at 7. And following, you’ll get to hear the replay of the Greyhounds taking on Pieper.
