It’s time to get it on! Tonight from Austin, Champion will play game 1 against Liberty Hill and a lot is at stake this series… it’s the regional final. And the Chargers also have a basketball player going DII with Braden Baum committing to East Central University in Oklahoma as announced yesterday. Congratulations to Baum… and the 2023 TABC 5A All-State selection and top Champion scorer in 2022.

Now to more powderpuff games this time at Geneva- the seniors in their football game defeated the juniors 32-6, so let the bragging rights reign upon… and the boys also had a volleyball match of their own, in which the seniors also defeated the juniors. The seniors, once again, go out strong. Rumor has it the juniors are already plotting their revenge for next year… we shall find out in 1 year’s time.
