Today is the day… an exciting time to be a Charger baseball fan. Game 1 of the regional semifinal series against Sharyland is today live from Corpus Christi here on Boerne Radio. Hey here’s a very fun fact about the Greyhound softball team. Did you know since 2020, five Greyhounds have committed to playing DI softball that have all played the shortstop position? Yeah that’s right, pretty cool, huh?- Mac Vasquez in 2020 committed to playing at Notre Dame, in 2022, Brooke Sivek committed to Akron, from 2023, Cameron Cooper went to UT Arlington, last year it was Taylor Wilson committing to Texas State, and soon to graduate, Ava Renteria has committed to Texas State. So it looks like if you want your daughter to go DI, she must play shortstop at Boerne High School… very cool stuff… the Greyhounds are always a talented bunch. 

And… this just in… we have the score from the annual Powder Puff Game at Boerne Champion. The seniors take the dominating win over the juniors, 20-0 for the shutout, to claim this year’s bragging rights. The nice part for the juniors is they’ll be the seniors next year and you know revenge will be on their minds.
