Headlines: Times, Dates, Locations announced for Champion-Sharyland regional semi series / Spurs win 2nd and 14th overall picks in draft

Alright it’s official… regional semifinal action here on Boerne Radio this weekend… the dates, times, and locations are set. It’s Champion vs Sharyland from Mission with all games at Cabaniss Field in Corpus Christi… Game 1 is Thursday at 7, game 2 is Friday at 5, and game 3 if necessary is Saturday at 1. Alright so the NBA Draft Lottery has seemed more exciting than any actual Spurs game the past few seasons… reviving a jubilant fanbase of hope and family with the Spurs winning the pick in 2023 to of course draft Wemby. And then just last year, another rookie of the year with Stephon Castle as the 4th overall pick. And now this year with the consensus number 1 pick being Cooper Flagg from Duke… the reveal was a nail-biter but it ended up being the Dallas Mavericks getting number one. The Spurs have the 2nd and 14th picks in round 1… that 14th coming from Atlanta via the Dejounte Murray trade in 2022. The Draft will take place June 25.
