Well, what a night as Boerne Radio had to scramble to get the Boerne Greyhound game on the air as they started way early because they knew the storm was coming and it did…The Greyhound game was called in the 5th inning when lightning and reports of hail on the horizon were coming their way.  

We then flipped over to the Champion Chargers playing at home against the MacArthur Brahmas - they took game 1 handily.

So, here’s the game plan…

The Greyhounds will finish the last 2 innings of Game 1 today at 4 o’clock at Buda Johnson where they lead 4-1. Then they will play Game 2 right after that.  Our plan is to carry that right here on Boerne Radio…

Then at 6:45 The Champion Chargers will play Game 2 after their 10-1 win last night against MacArthur…again LIVE right here.

If either team splits the series, then Games 3 will be held tomorrow afternoon - but based on last night's performance this broadcaster says we’re announcing Area Champs tomorrow.

Hey congratulations to the Boerne Greyhound Tennis Team!  Four players qualified for the 2024 UIL Class 4A State Tournament.  Ben Rowe and Nick Dube won the gold in Boys Doubles in the Regional Tournament yesterday, Justin Barraza won the gold in Boys Singles in the Regional Tournament yesterday,  and Owen Labay took the Silver in Boys Singles… and if you caught that Boerne had to play Boerne in the final match as we took the gold and silver.
