Headlines: 6 Geneva Tennis players earn Academic All-State / UT Softball wins National Title / UTSA swept by UCLA

6 Geneva tennis players proved intelligence on the court and in the classroom this season after being named Academic All-State. Ella Dillinger, Audrey Lapacka, Siena Svendsen, Mary Simpson, Teagan Fikes, and Alex Malouf were your recipients.

The Texas Tech and UT Austin softball series for the title was a good one, going three games into Friday night. But UT shut down the game 3 Friday with a 10-4 victory… this is UT’s first title in softball ever, and 2nd appearance in back-to-back years. 

UTSA baseball, didn’t have as much luck this weekend. The roadrunners got a once-in-a-lifetime experience with heading to LA, and made history going to their first super regional. Unfortunately, they lost their series with UCLA in 2 games over the weekend, meaning UTSA is out. UCLA will be in Omaha for the College World Series. Even Jordan Ballin was emotional in the postgame interviews saying “I couldn’t ask for anything better.”
