Wednesday 6/25
This is Boerne Radio Sports… Happy NBA Draft day.
A Boerne-area resident has qualified for something pretty spectacular. Kendall Leininger competed in the 70.3 Ironman competition up in Pennsylvania. She placed first in the 18-24 category and as a result, qualified for the Ironman championship in Spain where she would be competing with some of the best Ironman athletes in the world. Congrats to Kendall and best of luck in Spain! This story was courtesy of the Boerne Star sports.
Alright it’s Draft Night for the NBA… are you ready? The Spurs are on the clock to select #2 and #14 in the first round with their projected picks already in line. As of last night, a few other trades have been made but none impacting the silver and black. And let’s hope with this pick, the draft lottery might be a thing of the past for the Spurs, as it seems they now are looking ahead to making the postseason in 2026.
