Headlines: Express News All-Area Teams for baseball released / KD to the Rockets, Spurs set for Draft on Wednesday

This is Boerne Radio Sports… 

The Express News All-Area Team for baseball was released and here are the players recognized from Boerne ISD: From Boerne High, 5A All-Area goes to Dylan Perez, and Brooks Perez made the Super team. For Champion, Jaedyn Yamaguchi joins the Super team, as well as the all-area team. The two other all-area recipients are AJ Grizzafi and Aidan Smith. 

On the last day of the 2024-2025 NBA season, that being game 7 of the Finals where if you’re an OKC Thunder fan, your team won their first ever title in history… another monumental thing was announced involving Kevin Durant… in a trade with Phoenix, Houston acquired him so he is now a Rocket. That leaves one rumor out the window about the Spurs potentially being a landing spot for the veteran. Now the focus turns to the draft coming up Wednesday… the Spurs are in line to pick #2 and #14 in the first round. Now, nothing that happens in the next few days is official until free agency starts at the beginning of July.
