Brooks Perez, former Greyhound baseball player who also just walked the stage with his diploma, just represented his school at the THSBCA All-Star Game at Dell Diamond in Round Rock. And in a few months, he will be taking his talents to the University of Houston where he will play baseball as a Cougar.
If you had a chance to tune into the U.S. Open this weekend, especially the final round on Sunday, you saw a heck of a match. To begin with, the weather at Oakmont Country Club in Corinth, Texas was very wet. Rain poured for a while but it didn’t stop the competitors. It was hard for most and some lost shots because of said conditions… a $21.5 Million purse with a $4.3 Million top prize went to J.J. Spaun representing the USA… he was the only golfer to finish under with a massive putt at the end to claim the victory. -1 was his final through 18. He started off rocky but actually made over 100 feet worth of putts to claim it at the end.
