More of the beloved sports teams in Texas are pledging money to help support the flood victims in Kerrville. The Rangers and Astros have each committed $1 Million, while the Spurs, Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks, the NBA, and the Players Association are combining to give more than $2 Million in relief efforts. A new episode of the Boerne Brew is out with Kerry Barboza from the Boerne Star talking to former Charger baseball player Jordan Ballin as they talk about his freshman year with UTSA- the Roadrunners were eliminated in the Super Regional round. Head over to BoerneRadio.com and check it out! 

The Spurs made Luke Kornet an official member of their roster yesterday, signing him with the contract details undisclosed. Kornet is a former champion with the Celtics and has made 43 playoff appearances, so the experience is there. He will also wear number 7, saying he wants to be a “third of the player Tim Duncan was.” (Ba-da-bum)
