Headlines: Final 4 basketball games in regular season / Comfort’s Thiele signs for softball

And then there were four… games left to play that is. That’s right- the high school basketball regular season is coming to a close with the final four district games for each school starting tonight. The Boerne Greyhounds will be facing Pieper with the girls being the host team and the boys away. For Champion, it's a date with Wagner… as the boys stay home and the girls away. All games will begin at 6:30.

On Wednesday during National Signing Day, a Comfort High School softball player signed her letter to play at the next level. Ella Thiele signed to play at Huston-Tillotson University in Austin. Thiele’s high school career stats, including one game already played this season according to MaxPreps, includes a .347 batting average, and a .422 on-base percentage. (OBP)
