His guest this time is Leighann Goode from the UT Longhorn softball team… as you recall, she was on the team that knocked off Texas Tech for the national title back in May. 

Big series of baseball this past weekend- Sunday’s results are Texas falling to Seattle 5-4, and Houston losing to Boston 6-1. As it sits at the moment, Texas is out of the wild card picture and Houston still leads the AL West with a 2.5 game lead on Seattle. 

In golf news, Cameron Young gets his first PGA Tour victory at the Wyndham Championship.  After making a bogey on hole #1, he made 5 straight birdies from holes 2 through 6, giving him a 9-shot lead.  Not only did he win by 6 strokes at the end, he also won 1.368 million dollars.  He also is now in the top 50 which puts him in the FedEx Saint Jude Championship, and he’s no longer “the best player without a win”.

And in Boerne, we also have a Hole In One Alert!  Yesterday on Hole #16 out at The Clubs of (cor-dee-YAIR-uh) Cordillera Ranch, Mary Brooker gets the Ace!  When you get a hole in one at Cordillera you not only get the bragging rights, and first off on the next tee-box, you also get the #16 Flag to prove it.
