Geneva Eagles Softball was tied at one point, 4-4 with John Paul II from Schertz, and a prevailing rally late landed Geneva the win. 7-5, they take a road win, AND, they have punched their ticket to the TAPPS playoffs. Next up for them is a date in round 1 of the playoffs with League City, but they’ll have to wait until May 2.

Speaking of playoffs, we’ll have some coverage for you here on Boerne Radio! That’s right- we’re back, and we’re ready. Greyhound softball will make the pilgrimage to Georgetown High School for a best-of-3 meeting with Cuero. Game 1 will be Friday at 6, with game 2 following a half hour after. Greyhound volleyball new Head Coach Staci Lawrence- she’s a woman of the people. Last night she was at Rock House doing a meet-and-greet with her new community. Minded, she’s coming from Massachusetts to be a part of the program, and she’s looking highly forward to it.
