If your home or business sustained damage during the flooding, a business permit or floodplain development permit may be required before beginning repair work within the City. This includes repairs involving structural components, electrical systems, plumbing and mechanical systems. Cosmetic repairs, like painting or replacing flooring, may not require a permit. If you are unsure whether your project requires a permit, you can contact the City of Boerne Permitting Department at (830) 248-1529. 

The flood debris drop off site at Northrup Park is now open to Boerne Utilities customers that were impacted by the flooding. Once you have your debris collected, make sure to bring your I.D. and recent utilities bills, and make sure the debris is non-hazardous.  Flood-damaged materials from homes and businesses, including fencing, flooring, sheetrock and brush, will be collected by WM at no cost.

Comfort has their own debris collection site-Hill Country Waste Solutions has placed debris dumpsters at Comfort Park on Main Street. Please do not place tires, appliances, chemicals or other hazardous materials in the dumpsters-brush may be disposed of at the county brush site located next to Champion High School.
