The Center just received a generous grant from the GVTC foundation. The $15,000 gift will be used to help enrich the quality of life of older adults through programs they host at the organization. The Center is also the home base of Meals on Wheels.

 

Boerne ISD Superintendent Dr. Kristin Craft has been named a 2026 Women’s Leadership Award winner by the San Antonio Business Journal. This prestigious recognition honors women leaders across the San Antonio region who are leading, innovating and giving back to their communities.  25 women were nominated.

 

This past weekend, the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard team, as well as Sheriff Al Auxier and Sgt. Pomeroy traveled to El Paso to witness the graduation of Alex Ramirez, the son of Deputy Carlos Ramirez who tragically died in the line of duty in 2019, but his legacy lives on within the law enforcement community here in Boerne.
