Two Champion High School seniors have been awarded scholarships from the Kendall County Fair Association. Reese Voulgaris and Jonathan Hulce will each receive one thousand dollars through the Homestead Heritage Exhibit Hall Scholarship. Voulgaris plans to study agricultural business at Blinn College, while Hulce will pursue a pre-med track at Texas A&M.  

 

And today is Adopt a Shelter Pet Day and if today is the day of your new pet’s salvation, remember our friends at Boerne Animal Care Services, Charming Pet Rescue, and Heart of Texas SPCA in Fair Oaks Ranch.

 

Bonus note:  Fawning season is about to start, which means cute tiny spotted fawns will soon be tucked into tall grass around yards, greenbelts, and trails.
