 Happy 1-year anniversary to the Chateau on Main Street next to the Dienger - they have a ribbon cutting tomorrow at 11:30 - the official address is 248 North Main St. - and speaking of a Dienger it was Karl Dienger who started the Boerne Village Band in 1860 and they are playing in Main Plaza tomorrow night at 7:30 - so bring your lawn chairs and coolers and enjoy some traditional German Music with this free concert.

And our friends over at the Boerne Star were recognized statewide for their excellent paper by the Texas Press Association. The group brought home top prizes from the Texas Better Newspaper Contest, capturing first prize in page design, third in news writing, and two fourth place prizes for feature writing and news photography. Out of 108 members of the TPA, the Boerne Star stood out as one of the shining members across the state.
